What is Electrolysis?

There are three basic methods or modalities by which electrolysis is accomplished.

Electrolysis/Galvanic - Direct current (DC) is used to cause a chemical reaction that forms caustic lye, which destroys the follicles' cells that can form hair.
Thermolysis - Alternating current (AC) is used to create heat which dries up the follicle and destroys the blood supply to the follicle.
Blend - Both Galvanic and Thermolysis are activated simultaneously or sequentially to accomplish the destruction of the follicle.

Payment is due at the time of service.

For all new clients, consultations are required.

FREE Consultation with Same-Day Treatment

Other consultation appointments are $35 and will be credited back toward your first treatment session.

Cancellation of Greater Than 48 Hours

If you reschedule or cancel your appointment earlier than 48 hours before your scheduled session, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.

Cancellation of Less Than 48 Hours

If you reschedule or cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before your scheduled session, you will be charged 50% of the value of your booked treatment time.

No Show

If you do not attend your appointment and have not communicated with Electrolysis By Melody, you may only book a new appointment with a prepaid deposit.
